Book 1 of A Leaf Collection is a wonderful artistic elementary collection of original solo piano pieces. Inspired by the composers' own variety of experiences from different seasons, historical events, and different people, this collection is a collage of many things set to music. Students will have an assortment of themes in which to use their imaginations.

The second set of pieces evokes the student’s emotions and imaginations as the music portrays various experiences. The titles include: Mist from the Sea; Escape in the Night; Drifting on the River; Starship Galileo; Undercover!; The Rocky Mountain Express; and others. There are nine pieces in varying keys, eight of which have an optional duet for a sibling, older student or the teacher. Each piece is pedagogically sound and carefully leveled so progress can be gradual and fun!

Book 3 is a creative collection designed to engage students' emotions and imagination with a variety of keys, moods, meters, and modes. Some of the styles and titles include: Distant Shores---a lyrical waltz; The Piper's Jig---lively in D mixolydian; Secret Mission---upbeat and jazzy; and Merlin's Vision. No sixteenth notes are used. This book will appeal to students and audiences alike!
